Our Paul Buisse white wines

The white wines of our region

There is no shortage of adjectives to describe the white wines produced by the Paul Buisse Winery. This diversity, which makes these wines the perfect accompaniment for a varied range of dishes, is due to our use of several grape varieties, including Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Melon de Bourgogne.

With so many grape varieties, you'll love our rich collection of Paul Buisse white wines and their appellations.

Crémant de Loire Paul Buisse
cepage These vineyards are in Touraine and the Loire Valley, grown in clay-limestone and flinty soils. Assemblage of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. The grapes are harvested by hand, collected in crates and carefully pressed to obtain the fine consistency required for the prise de mousse, the initial fermentation process that forms delicate bubbles.
teinte The bottles are laid on wooden lattes racks for 12 months to mature, resulting in a very delicate, aromatic wine containing tiny bubbles. Its intense aromas are reminiscent of brioche, with overtones of quince, lime blossom and honey that are characteristic of Chenin.
accords An ideal apéritif wine that is also lively enough to accompany the entire meal.
Cheverny Paul Buisse
cepage The vineyard is in the Loir-et-Cher département, not far from the Château de Cheverny. This Cheverny Blanc is made from an assemblage of Sauvignon and Chardonnay grapes.
teinte This wine has highly developed aromas of white peach and green apple.
accords Delicate, lively and fresh in the mouth, it goes well with any seafood. Serve at 8°C.
Drink within 2 years.
Muscadet Maison Buisse
cepage 100% Melon de Bourgogne.
teinte A golden yellow colour with a green tint. This wine is highly mineral, which is typical of this grape variety, with subtle fruit aromas (green apple).
accords It is the perfect accompaniment to fish, either grilled or served with a sauce (serving temperature: 9-11°C).
Pouilly Fumé Auspices
cepage 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Grown in clay-limestone soils.
teinte A fragrant, refreshing wine: aromas of white fruits and acacia blossom; round in the mouth with a subtle hint of "smokiness".
accords Serve chilled as an apéritif or to accompany grilled fish, white meat and poultry.
Ageing potential: 3 years
Sancerre Couronne et Lions Paul Buisse
cepage 100% sauvignon blanc.
teinte This wonderfully delicate and fruity Sancerre Blanc has a blend of fresh, young and balanced aromas.
accords Served at around 10°C, it goes very well with salmon en crôute, sauced fish dishes and Crottin de Chavignol cheese. For something different, try it with foie gras – you'll love it! Drink immediately or within 2-3 years.
Also available in a 3-litre wine box
Touraine Sauvignon Blanc Paul Buisse
cepage The vineyard covers the hillsides lining the Rivers Loire and Cher. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc wine is grown on clay-limestone soils.
teinte This Sauvignon, pale in colour with a green tint, is delicate and fruity and has complex aromas of broom buds and white peaches. Distinguished and delicate in the mouth, it is lively and fresh.
accords Serve at 10°C with shellfish and seafood.
Drink within 2 years
Touraine Sauvignon Blanc Domaine Paul Buisse
cepage This vineyard is at Pouillé, not far from Montrichard, on clay-limestone hillsides. The aspect of these vines is recognised by professionals as being one of the best in the Touraine appellation. 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
teinte This Sauvignon, a clear colour with a golden tint, gives off aromas of white blossom and beeswax.
Round, full and lively, it is fresh and has a delicate finish in the mouth.
accords Serve chilled at 8°C with any seafood, hot or cold. Drink within 2 years.
Touraine Sauvignon Clos des Ronceveaux
cepage This vineyard is at Montrichard, above the Paul Buisse Winery, overlooking the Cher Valley. Its extremely sunny aspect produces a very rich wine with delicate, fruity aromas. This cuvée is vinified and matured on fine lees in new oak barrels for one year. 100% Sauvignon Rose
teinte This Sauvignon Rose (also known as Fié Gris) has a golden tint verging on buttercup yellow and gives off intense aromas of white blossoms, citrus and peach. It is round and generous in the mouth, slightly woody with a hint of vanilla and a good persistence.
accords Serve at 8°C with any seafood, particularly shellfish and salmon with dill. It also goes well with goat's cheese.
Drink within 5 years.
Vouvray Clos du Gaimont sec
cepage 100% Chenin Blanc (or Pineau de la Loire)
teinte Note its beautiful straw-yellow colour backed by a slight tint of silver, and its floral nose (acacia) with aromas of lemon and candied fruit! With its roundness and freshness it is a treat for the palate.
accords Serve between 11°C and 12°C with fish and cooked seafood.
Vouvray Clos du Gaimont 1/2 sec
cepage 100% Chenin Blanc (or Pineau de la Loire)
